A. The number of pictures you can upload depends on the file size of your digital pictures. Below is a chart that displays the approximate number of pictures you can upload in relation to the number of megapixels your digital camera produces.

A. You can upload pictures two ways, using the web browser or using our PC Client FotoAlbum. To upload using the web browser, do the following:

1. Login to your web account.
2. Choose the Pictures menuitem from the Edit Web Albums menu, then choose Upload Pictures menuitem.
3. Choose the Album to upload to.
4. Use the Browse button to locate the picture on your hard drive
5. Click the Upload Pictures button to upload your picture

To upload using FotoAlbum, do the following:

1. Create an Album.
2. From the All View click the Add To button to add the pictures to the album.
3. Goto the Album and click the Add button, the dialog will close.
4. Select the pictures you want to publish.
5. Right click on the pictures and select "Publish Public" from the popup menu.
6. Make sure you are connected to the web, then  press the "Web Sync" button.

A. Click on the Share Pictures link on the left then choose the Send E-Mail Invite menuitem on the next page.  This will send an email with a single link to click on to see your pictures.

A. Each picture has its own security setting, either public or private.  A public picture can be viewed by all guests (users who enter your email address in the guest login field on the FotoTime home page).  A private picture can only be viewed by you (a user who enters both an email address and password in the login/password field on the FotoTime home page).  You can also send an invitation to a specific user which gives access to a specific album, as well as access to Private pictures.  Finally, you can turn off all guest logins by going to Admin Options->Edit Preferences and uncheck the "Allow guests to login from home page" checkbox.  In FotoAlbum to change your security settings on a picture, just select the picture then select the "Published - Public" or "Published-Private" menu item from the Web menu.

A. Your private pictures are very secure and cannot be accessed or downloaded by anyone unless they have logged into your account with a password, or you have sent them a link that allows them to view the private pictures.  In order to make all pictures more secure, they have been put behind our login framework so that hackers can't just guess the URL for your pictures.

A. Click on the Admin Options link on the left then on choose the Edit Preferences menuitem on the next page. On the "Edit Preferences" page, uncheck the "Allow guests to login from home page" checkbox.

A. You can delete an album using the web browser or FotoAlbum.

Using the web browser, do the following:

1. Login to your web account
2. Choose the Albums menuitem from the Edit Web Albums menu, then choose the Delete Album menuitem
3. Select the album you want to delete 
4. Click the Delete button

Using the FotoAlbum PC client, do one of the following:

1. Set all pictures in the album to Non Published and sync to the web.
2. Remove all pictures in the album and sync to the web.
3. Remove the Album and sync to the web.

A. Choose the Edit Preferences menuitem from the Admin Options menu.  On the Edit Preferences page, click the Display tab and check the "Display Welcome page before going to thumbnails checkbox". To add a Welcome Message, click the Welcome tab and enter your text in the Custom Welcome Message field.

A. The first thumbnail in each album is used on the Welcome Page.  If you want to change which picture is the first picture in an album, just set the sort property on the album.

A. Choose the Albums menuitem from the Edit Web Albums menu, then choose the Edit Album menuitem. Choose the Album you want to sort and then select the type of Order you want using the Picture Order dropdown.  If you choose Sequence as the Picture Order, you can easily order your pictures by manually re-ordering your pictures.  To do this, choose the Pictures menuitem from the Edit Web Albums menu, then choose the Re-order Pictures menuitem.  On the next page, move your pictures into the correct order.

A. Login to your FotoTime web account with your old email address, click the "Admin Options" link on the left, on the next page click the "Registration Info" link.  On the next page type over your current email address with your new email address.

A. Click the Share Pictures link on the left and then choose the Invitation History menuitem on the next page. Locate the URL and then click the "Show..." link.

A. If your upload never completes, here are some things to check

• Make sure there are no problems with your internet connection and the connection is not excessively slow
• If you are behind a firewall, some firewalls prevent large file uploads using the browser
• If you are running any Internet Security software (e.g. Norton Internet Security, McAfee Internet Security), this could cause your pictures not to upload.  Try disabling the software and then try uploading.
